{drink up}

Like everyone else, every once and awhile I get the urge to press the restart button when it comes to my eating habits. You can get all caught up in life and forget about the basics, like what you’re putting into your body. I guess living on your own can be seen as a plus in this case because you don’t have to worry about anyone but yourself – but I actually find it more difficult for the exact same reason. Because I don’t have to make meals with/for anyone else, it’s very easy to just take the easy route.

I’m a breakfast lover and things just aren’t right if I don’t eat in the morning. During the week, I love a good, hearty & healthy shake in the morning. They are quick and a great way to start your day right…..if you make them healthy! I’ve gotten bored with my usual recipes so I found a bunch more that not only sound delicious but they all serve a function to keep your body healthy. Who says fresh starts have to start on Mondays?!
